Hopp

Insåg precis att det här årets sista inlägg höll på att bli "Hat". Det vill jag faktiskt inte. Det är en del av mig just nu, men det är inte allt, och det får inte vara den delen som sätter punkt för 2013. 
 
I julas gav jag både min vän från Canada och min tolvåriga kusin ett billigt halsband med ordet "hope". Mer en symbolisk julklapp än något annat. Jag vill så gärna själv känna det där hoppet, jag vill låta det uppfylla hela min kropp och bära mig framåt. Hoppet om något bättre, hoppet om glädje, hoppet om lycka. Det känns lite töntigt men jag gav dem halsbanden för att jag symboliskt ville portionera ut hoppet litegrann. Om det finns fler som hoppas kanske det på något sätt skulle kunna kännas lite lättare när den värsta hopplösheten slår sina klor i mig.
 
2013 har varit genomuselt på så många sätt, men jag vill åtminstone försöka lämna det här året en smula hoppfull. Jag känner mig i ärlighetens namn inte ett dugg hoppfull, men om jag så bara kan få känna en sekund av något annat än svart sorg just nu, är jag tacksam. Så för stunden pressar jag in hoppfulla tankar. Jag gör det med våld, men det får det vara värt. 
 
För min nyårsafton i år måste banne mig innehålla lite hopp. Även om det bara är en smula så ska det in. En smula hopp om en bättre framtid.
